Q1：国际学生秋季学期能否正常来华学习?
Can international students enter Mainland of China as usual for fall semester?
西安建筑科技大学秋季学期如期开学。根据目前的疫情防控形势，在中国境内的同学可以来校报到，参加线下学习。不在中国境内的同学，由于旅行限制和入境要求不能入境，可以进行线上报到注册、线上学习。
The fall semester of XAUAT will commence as scheduled. According to the current situation of
epidemic prevention and control:
International students who are inside Mainland of China can arrive at XAUAT to register and take
part in offline learning.
Those who are outside Mainland of China cannot enter China due to travel restrictions and entry
requirements, but can register online for online learning.
Q2: 在中国境外的国际学生，预计什么时候能入境?
I am currently outside Mainland of China. Is there any estimated time when I am able to enter
Mainland of China?
因为疫情的不确定性，目前无法确定预计允许入境时间。境外学生可以联系所在国家/地区的中国使领馆进行咨询,并且耐心等待学校通知。
Because of the uncertainty of the pandemic, there is no estimated time the university can provide.
Please consult the Chinese embassy/consulate in your place，and wait the notice from university
patiently.

Q3: 老生什么时候报到注册?
When shall current students register at the university?
根据安排，8月29日，30日老生报到注册。
According to the schedule, current students shall register on August 29/30, 2020.
Q4: 是否需要返校办理注册手续?
Do I have to return to the university for registration?
在中国境内的老生,需在规定时间内到国际教育学院留学生管理办公室完成注册手续; 在中国境外的老生可通过辅导员进行线上注册，请密切关注学校的进一步通知。
Students who are inside mainland of China shall go to the International Students Affairs Offices for
registration. For those who are outside Mainland of China, please wait for the futher notice from
your counsellors for online registration.
Q5: 如因病或因事无法报到，该如何处理?
If I cannot register due to illness or other special circumstances, what should I do?
因病或因事暂时无法报到，请联系辅导员并按学籍管理规定及时办理请假手续。超过2周未办理报到注册的，将被视为擅自离校，将做退学处理。
If you cannot register due to illness or other special circumstances, please contact your counsellors and ask for leave in time according to the student status regulations. If you fail to register for more than 2 weeks of the new semester, you will be deemed to leave the university without permission
and drop out of the university.
Q6: 老生如何缴纳学费？如果在线学习，学费是否可以减免?
How should current students pay the tuition? If I study online, is there a reduction in tuition?
在中国境内老生应在居留许可到期至少前10天缴纳学费及相关费用；中国境外学生应在居留许可到期至少前10天联系辅导员, 并通过微信进行缴费（暂不办理签证）。线上学习学费不变。
Students who are inside Mainland of China should pay tuition and other fees at least 10 days before the expiration of residence permit. For those who are outside Mainland of China, please contact
your counsellors and pay tuition and other fees through Wechat at least 10 days before the expiration of residence permit(No need for visa extension this time）.The online tuition standard is the same with offline courses.

Q7:在中国境内的新生如何报到注册?
How should new students who are inside Mainland of China register at the university?
根据目前疫情防控要求，陕西省内国际学生请准备好相关材料，于9月8日至我校报到注册；省外国际学生需根据我校所发邮件内容要求，进行统一健康观测及核酸检测后，方可来陕进行入学报到注册相关手续。
According to the current epidemic prevention and control requirements, new students who are now in Shaanxi province should follow the university’s instructions to come to the campus for
registration during September 8；Those who are in other provinces should come to Shaanxi
province and register after the health observation for 14 days and nucleic acid testing.
