1.遵守中国法律法规和学校规章制度，尊重中国礼仪和习俗。
1.Observe Chinese laws & regulations and XAUAT rules&disciplines,respect Chinese social morality and customs.
2.不非法就业、不参加传销活动。外国人非法就业的，处五千元以上二万元以下罚款；情节严重的，处五日以上十五日以下拘留，并处五千元以上二万元以下罚款。
2.It is not allowed to be engaged in any illegal employment or pyramid selling. Foreigners who work in China illegally will be fined no less than RMB 5,000 but no more than RMB 20,000.In cases where circumstances are serious, they shall be detained for no less than five days but not more than fifteen days and shall also be fined no less than RMB 5,000 but no more than 20,000.
3.请确认本人的签证/居留许可有效期，并在签证/居留许可过期前30天开始办理相关手续。根据《中华人民共和国出境入境管理法》，签证过期需缴纳每天五百元的罚款。
3.Please check your visa/residence permit. If the dates are nearing an end, make sure you go through visa/residence permit extension procedures at least one month before your visa/residence permit expires. According to The Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People’s Republic of China, a student whose visa expires will be fined RMB 500 every day after the expiration date.
4.在中国境内进行宗教活动，应当遵守中国的法律法规，在中国境内规定的宗教活动场所参加宗教活动。校内严禁进行传教及宗教聚会等活动。严禁在非宗教场所进行宗教仪式。
4.Religious activities in China shall be conducted in accordance with Chinese laws and regulations. International students should participate in religious activities in places prescribed in China. Students are forbidden to do missionary work or hold religious assemblies on campus. It is strictly forbidden to perform religious ceremonies in non-religious places.
5.《中华人民共和国治安管理处罚法》第七十二条规定:对于吸食、注射毒品的，处十日以上十五日以下拘留，可并处二千元以下罚款;情节较轻的，处五日以下拘留或者五百元以下罚款。
5.According to the relevant provision of Article 72 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Penalties for Administration of Public Security：Whoever takes or injects drugs shall be detained for not less than 10 days but not more than 15 days and may also be fined not more than 2000 yuan; If the circumstances are relatively minor, he shall be detained for not more than five days or fined not more than 500 yuan.
6.中国法律所规定的毒品，是指鸦片、海洛因、甲基苯丙胺(冰毒)、吗啡、大麻、可卡因以及国家规定管制的其他能够使人形成瘾癖的麻醉药品和精神药品。
6.Illegal drugs prescribed by laws of the People's Republic of China include opium, heroin, methamphetamine (“ice”), morphine, marijuana, cocaine and other nationally controlled addictive narcotics and psychotropic substances.
7.重视交通安全，自觉遵守交通规则，不乘坐非法运营车辆。根据《中华人民共和国道路交通安全法》，未取得机动车驾驶证驾驶机动车以及驾驶无证无牌机动车的，可以处200元以上2000元以下罚款，同时根据情况可以并处十五日以下拘留。
7.Pay attention to traffic safety, consciously abide by traffic rules, and do not take illegally operated vehicles. In China, driving a motor vehicle without a Chinese driver’s license or driving an unlicensed motor vehicle will be fined anywhere from RMB 200 to RMB 2000 and detained for up to 15 days.
8.严禁电动车入楼停放。严禁私拉电线充电，严禁将电动车电瓶带入室内充电。严禁国际学生驾驶无牌无证机动摩托车。
8.Electric vehicles are strictly prohibited from parking in the buildings or in the yard. It is strictly prohibited to charge by pulling wires privately and to take batteries of electric vehicles into the room for charging. International students are strictly prohibited from driving unlicensed motorcycles.
9.校内住宿国际学生自觉遵守宿舍管理规定，严禁留宿他人，注意在校安全。校外住宿学生在入住二十四小时内向居住地的公安机关办理登记，不办理住宿登记的外国人，依据《中华人民共和国出境入境管理法》，给予警告可以并处2000元以下的罚款。
9.On campus International students consciously abide by dormitory management regulations, and it is strictly forbidden to stay with others, paying attention to school safety. Off campus International students should report to the local police station within 24 hours to complete accommodation registration. If you fail to register, according to The Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People’s Republic of China, you will be given a warning and then be fined as much as RMB 2000.
10.注意食品安全，保持良好个人饮食习惯。关注自身健康状况，如有不适及时就医。
10.Pay attention to food safety and maintain good personal eating habits. Pay attention to your own health and seek medical advice in time if you feel unwell.
11.注意保管好个人财物。同学们要切实增强自我防范意识，注意保管好自己的电脑、手机以及各类贵重财物。
11.Take care of your personal belongings.Students should strengthen their awareness of self-prevention and take good care of their computers, mobile phones and all kinds of valuables.
12.合理利用网络，注意网络安全，讲究网络道德，提高安全意识，防范网络诈骗。

13.注意防范身边可能存在或发生的安全隐患和不稳定因素，发现可疑情况及时报告辅导员。
13.Pay attention to prevent potential safety hazards and unstable factors that may exist or occur around you, report suspicious situations to counsellor in time, and call the police in time in case of emergency.
