School of International Education (SIE) of Xi 'an University of Architecture and Technology(XAUAT) is an administrative department engaged in the students recruitment,  learning provision, supervision and operations. It consists of the School Office, the International Students Affairs Office, the International Student Teaching Affairs Office and the Chinese Language Center. SIE is mainly responsible for the management of enrollments of international students, Visa service and other daily service of international students, and coordinating the teaching affairs of all kinds of international students studying in XAUAT.

Since 2008, XAUAT has successfully educated more than 1,000 international students from over 40 countries, including the United States, Germany, Japan, Korea, Turkey, Russia, Iran, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, etc.

We are proud to offer the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, Shaanxi Provincial Sanqin scholarship, "Belt and Road" Scholarship, Xi'an  "Five Central Asian Countries" Educaiton and Training Program scholarship, and XAUAT scholarship as financial aids to support the development of international students. The university offers a wide range of programmes and courses across such fields as Architecture, Civil Engineering, International Economy and Trade, Environmental Engineering, Management Science and Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, Public Administration, Mining Engineering etc. available for the most talented and dedicated of students. International students can elect to take courses at different academic levels: undergraduate, masters, PhD programmes,which are all designed to impart the highest quality learning for our students. Language training, short-term cultural study tours, summer language camps and other exchange programs will also recruit international student
